EMO POEMS – FOR SHOWING EMO SADNESS
Contrary to popular belief, emo kids are not just walking ragdolls. They are among the most expressive and emotional human beings you will encounter in your life. They can even come up with emo poems and stories which can be quite moving.
A general theme in every emo poem is the sadness. Whether you lost a parent or a lover or someone close to you, the emotional hurt is felt in every word. You can expect to at least drop a single tear after reading an emo poem. The intensity is great and the words are carefully chosen to fit the current story to be told. Several emo poets have undergone great regrets in their lives that drive them to write such depressing stories. Some are mere imaginations of impending sadness yet to be encountered when one foresees it.
Just like any other teenager, an emo kid undergoes peer pressure and failures in life. The difference is, they tend to meditate on it more by making poems. Some poems are addressed to an ex lover who seems to have taken the world with him when he left, leaving the emo poet alone in the dark. There are times when the poem is about family; when the parents got divorced, when a sibling dies or when the most important person in your life suddenly leaves you without reason. Sadness is what makes a poem emo and the added depression is carefully organize into one beautifully written poem for everybody to read.
